Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: not yet published
Scope of this policy
This policy explains what happens if you cancel a confirmed booking, and when a refund is due. It applies alongside any cancellation terms the individual venue or trip organiser states on their listing. Where the two differ, the terms shown on the listing apply.
Cancelling a booking
To cancel, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or use the contact details on your booking confirmation, quoting your booking reference. A cancellation takes effect from the time we receive it, not from the time you decide.
Refund schedule
[CONFIRM YOUR REFUND SCHEDULE. For example: cancel more than 15 days before arrival for a full refund less any transaction charge; between 7 and 15 days for 50 per cent; less than 7 days, no refund.] Until this is confirmed, the terms stated on the individual listing apply.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the payment method used for the booking. [CONFIRM HOW LONG REFUNDS TAKE TO REACH THE CUSTOMER].
Changes to a booking
Where a venue or organiser can accommodate a change of date or group size, we will help arrange it. A change may affect the price, and is not guaranteed.
If the venue or organiser cancels
If a venue owner or trip organiser cancels a confirmed booking, you are entitled to a full refund of what you paid. Where possible we will also help you find an alternative.
Circumstances outside anyone's control
Where a booking cannot go ahead because of events outside reasonable control — severe weather, natural disaster, or a government restriction — we will work with the venue or organiser to arrange a credit, a new date, or a refund. [CONFIRM YOUR APPROACH].
No-shows
A booking where the guest does not arrive and has not cancelled is treated as a late cancellation, and no refund is due.
